About Us
Tanya qualified to NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Beauty Therapy as well as passing an internationally recognised qualification CIDESCO in 2002. She then spent over 5 years managing a local salon before leaving to start her own business renting a room within a hairdressers in 2007. She spent 7 years working there before her dream became a reality and she opened her very own salon in 2014.
Tanya for Beauty has gone from strength to strength over the years and we have an amazing team of highly qualified therapists who have many years of experience behind them.
We pride ourselves on customer care and making everyone feel welcome, pampered and appreciated.
All therapists have done extra training throughout the years to expand our treatments & services and to keep up to date with the latest industry developments.
We only use high quality professional brands such as CND Shellac, OPI, Bio Sculpture, Dermalogica, LashUs and Skinny Tan to name a few.
We all love our jobs and we hope this shows when we perform your treatments!

TANYA
I qualified in 2002 and I first opened Tanya for beauty in 2007 after spending 5 years working my way up to manager in a local salon. I started out with a room within a busy hairdressers in town and then moved to our current premises in 2014.
I have a love for nails but enjoy everything about my job. I love making people feel pampered and special and I have many years of experience.

I have over 25 years experience in the beauty industry, including teaching and working in salons. I am married with 2 children. I love doing facials, waxing and generally making people feel pampered and special!
Beauty & Holistic Therapist
NIKKI
I have worked in a number of High Street salons, Hotel salons and Day spas both in the UK and overseas, also as a Freelance Mobile Therapist.
Been at Tanya's part time since opening and will now be working seasonally in the summer months whilst exploring more of the world in the winter!
I specialise in restorative & relaxation treatments such as massage, reflexology and facials, with another favourite being wedding makeups.

KATIE
I have been in the industry since 2006 when I worked at the Aphrodite Spa in Potters 5 star leisure resort for a number of years. I have since moved to more personalised, boutique salons including Tanya for Beauty. Although I am trained in and enjoy a variety of treatments, I specialise in waxing & nails.

I have been qualified for 17 years, worked at local salons and Dunston Hall. I specialise in Russian volume lashes, but love everything!

SOPHIE
I am Sophie & I have been a qualified beauty therapist since 2013. I worked for imagine spa at the Old Hall Caister for 4 years before becoming Self Employed at Tanya for Beauty.
I enjoy doing all of the different variety of treatments that we offer in the salon.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends, going on nice holidays and at the moment renovating our first home.
